An ethnography of professional communities: towards building an engaging global Information Architecture community
World Information Architecture Association is conducting a research study to better understand how to build a community that brings people together with the intention of promoting the practice and learning of information architecture.
This project examines a range of viewpoints about building successful professional communities. The research team will be conducting rolling phases of 30-45-minute online interviews starting in December 2021.
This form should take 2-3 minutes to complete. Selected participants will be invited for the interview. You will get an email from a worldiaday.org domain.
Any information that is obtained in connection with this research and that can be identified with you will remain confidential and will be disclosed only with your permission or as required by law. Confidentiality will be maintained by using a pseudonym instead of your name.
You can choose whether or not to be in this research. If you volunteer to be in this research, you may withdraw at any time without consequences of any kind. You may also refuse to answer any questions you do not want to answer.
